Irving Woodlands, LLC, is the largest privately owned and managed forestland in Maine and New Brunswick. The company’s forest management team applies best practices, training, and state-of-the-art technologies to ensure that Irving’s forest and water resources are sustainably managed or conserved. Activities on Irving forestlands comply with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) standards in Maine, and SFI standards in Canada. Irving is committed to providing the habitats needed to support all wildlife species that occur in the company’s forest ecosystems, including young forests important to Species of Greatest Conservation need such as the American woodcock.
